Course Costs and Awards
The training course contains 20 fully-funded UKRI positions*
Cost per attendee is anticipated to be £2500, though see below for what costs cover
Costs covered include: domestic travel costs, subsistence costs, local accommodation**
Additional funds are available to make provisions for diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility (DEIA) during this training course
Participants will have the opportunity to win a Dragon’s Den-type "best study award" during the course.
*Non-UKRI-funded researchers are welcome to apply for this course, however fully-funded positions are only accessible by UKRI-funded researchers. Non-UKRI-funded researchers would be required to cover their own expenses.

Course Location
The training course will primarily take place at Imperial London College's White City Campus and Hammersmith Campus, though occasional teaching may occur at the Paddington (St Mary's Hospital). Provided accomodation will be located in proximity to these sites. A field trip to an Air Quality Supersite will also take place during Day 2. More specific information regarding location will be provided closer to the start date of the course.

Selection Process
Applications for this advanced training course will being on the 31st of October and close on the 5th of January. Successful applicants will be notified by the 10th of January.
No interview is required during the application process. Applicants will be selected by a panel of at least 3. Panelists will be of mixed gender, ethnicity, and career stage.
